MBS Ultra Thin Brake - Over Excitation

MBS- Miniature Slim Brake with over excitation is an ultra-compact design for saving installation space. Combining a special over-excitation controller, it provides high torque, low power consumption and efficiently reduces the temperature of brakes.


Once energized with 24 VDC, the PWM controller will provide the 12VDC or 7VDC to hold the brake in the release position.When power is turned off, the electromagnetic field dissipates, then brake locks.


Installation Checkpoints

  • Please use adhesive to fix screws when installation.

  • Please refer to h7 for the designation of shaft tolerance.

  • If a self-made hub is designed by users for more space saving, please prevent the hub from hitting armature plate or magnetic yoke, and add adhesive to setscrews of hub for fixing the motor shaft.

  • Please use our PWM controller for optimizing power saving.
